Our People

Ivor Knox - Managing Director

Ivor has been with the company since 2010 and has personal oversight of all field & fab projects. Having kicked off his career with 5 years learning all about top quality data collection as an interviewer, supervisor and centre manager in one of NOP’s CATI units, he then spent more than a decade as a client-facing researcher, as an AD responsible for international major projects and then a team-leading Director primarily in the public sector. As well as understanding operations inside out, he knows exactly what clients expect at the end of projects, and how it feels to stand in front of an audience presenting results and justifying methodologies. Fields of research include political opinion polls, media, brand tracking, financial, telecommunications, lifestyle, medical, transport, internet and retail for clients such as the Scottish Government and the Sunday Times. He believes in maintaining an ongoing dialogue with clients to ensure that all parties are comfortable with the approach being taken throughout the process. If there’s anything you need to know about field & fab, from survey design through to weighting, data production and other technical requirements, Ivor can answer your questions if you email him or call him on 01434 611168.
